Picnic in the Blyderivierspoort Nature Reserve, see the geologically fascinating Bourke´s Luck Potholes, and there´s an adrenalin-pumping gorge swing. Pilgrim´s Rest is a national monument and living museum depicting the bygone days of the gold rush era. If you´ve time, visit the Echo Cave in nearby Ohrigstad. The highlight though, is the canyon.
